Laura (she/her) enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, attachment trauma and disorders, relational or communication concerns (especially the parent-child relationship), trauma, and the complex ways that neurodivergence impacts these experiences. She is specifically interested in working with young neurodivergent people on emotional identification, communication skills, sensory needs, social understanding, and self-esteem. She is also fluent in American Sign Language, and has an interest in helping parents find communication through their neurodivergent child’s behavior.  She hopes to help people identify the different aspects of their neurotype as a pathway to finding confidence in their identity and self-expression.

Laura enjoys helping families create better relationships through focus on using person-centered interventions drawing from a range of modalities. She provides a non-judgmental, accepting, and safe environment where all emotions can be experienced and expressed. She hopes to provide support with knowledge and understanding of the societal and systemic levels that impact their well-being and healing journey.

Laura holds a Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts with a minor in Deaf Studies from University of Minnesota Duluth, and a Master’s of Social Work from University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
