Karen (she/her) takes a holistic approach to therapy addressing the mind, body, and spirit to support health and healing. She believes that clients are the experts in their own lives and their own best healers when they have access to helpful tools and a supportive environment.  Her role is to partner with clients to explore what is keeping them from their goals in a safe, and nurturing environment. Karen utilizes many different therapeutic approaches such as art based, cognitive-behavioral, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and movement based therapies to help clients increase self-awareness, develop positive coping strategies, and build resilience.

Karen has Master’s degree from Bethel University in Counseling Psychology and is working towards LPCC licensure in Minnesota.  Karen has additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).
