St. Paul

Corrine believes healing happens through healthy connections in relationships. She also believes mental health symptoms are often an adaptive response to stress, trauma or experiences rather than there being something “wrong” with a person.
Corrine works with children and teens who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. She works closely with their caregivers to support them and to help them understand the meaning behind their child’s behavior. She uses a number of techniques including play, art and mindfulness to help facilitate healing and the expression of feelings. Her experience is not limited to children, teens and parents– she also works with adults who have experienced disrupted attachments, trauma or other stressors.
Corrine has specialized training as an Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist (ECMH-E®), in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
