Amanda (She/Her) is a strength-based therapist rooted in compassion. She seeks to create genuine relationships with clients and families to support growth. She uses play, validation, silliness and realness to create strong client relationships. She uses an eclectic approach to therapy in order to meet clients where they are at. She utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Perinatal Mental Health. Amanda is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), emphasizing the mind-body connection.
Outside of work Amanda enjoys being with her two children, husband and family. Amanda enjoys running, being outside and up at her family’s cabin. Amanda also enjoys taking and leading dance classes (Ballet, Tap and Jazz) and yoga classes at a local dance studio.
Clinical Focus: Anxiety, ADHD, perinatal mental health, women’s mental health, trauma and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), parenting concerns, youth (ages 6+)
