Mary Muske
MA, LPCC
Licensed Psychotherapist
White Bear Lake

Mary believes that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change. She brings humor, kindness, and reflection into her work so clients feel safe, supported, and truly seen. In her approach, developmental history, client strengths, and current life stage all play an important role in understanding and supporting each individual or family. She views change as a process that looks different for everyone and helps clients reflect on what it means for them personally, empowering each step forward.
Mary uses reflection, curiosity, and a commitment to holding hope as central parts of her practice. She believes that building insight, making sense of difficult experiences, and setting healthy boundaries are key elements of the healing process. Mary is passionate about working with young adults, young children and their parents, and supporting clients through life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She draws on training in evidence-based approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC), Circle of Security Parenting (COSP), and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
