Mollie (she/her) has worked with families and adults experiencing significant social, medical, and relational stressors over the course of her career. She has advanced training and education in therapeutic support of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and birth trauma and has a history of working with individuals experiencing challenges in the reproductive period, including infertility, medically complex pregnancies, pregnancy loss, preterm births, and NICU admissions. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker, with certification in perinatal mental health. Mollie is also a trained birth doula and a trained childbirth educator.
Mollie prioritizes creating a safe and warm environment for clients, and highly values the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Mollie is adaptable and holistic in her approach to working with clients in order to best meet their therapeutic needs. She uses a variety of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and narrative therapy. Mollie defines successful therapy as a safe and intentional space where experiences, feelings, and thoughts can be explored, processed, and understood without judgment. The goals of therapy will differ for each client, but Mollie’s gentle and compassionate demeanor will be appreciated by all.
