Kayla (she/her) takes a holistic, mind–body, trauma-informed approach to therapy, supporting clients with care that honors the connection between emotional and physical well-being. Her clinical focus includes working with a variety of clients—children, adolescents, and adults—with a particular interest in exploring the impact of trauma.
Kayla incorporates elements of mindfulness, self-compassion, and somatic practices to support clients in developing a deeper awareness and connection to themselves. She believes in meeting clients where they are in their healing journey, validating their experiences while walking alongside them to build skills that foster resilience, growth, and lasting change.
Kayla earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Early Childhood Studies, from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bethel University.
Through her work, Kayla strives to cultivate a warm and collaborative atmosphere where clients can move toward meaningful growth in mind, body, and spirit.
