Jessica Pusch

Jess (she/her) strongly believes that there are no blueprints for therapy, and there are quite literally, millions of ways a person can get better. As a dually licensed professional, Jess specializes in working with all issues related to the need to avoid and numb our feelings, thoughts, and our reality at times.

Along with a strong desire to learn about the underlying bio-psycho-social causes of human behavioral responses, and how to use that information as a means to encourage resiliency in the most vulnerable populations, Jess has created a practice based on alleviating the suffering of others through creating a shared sense of community and purpose.

Jess has worked in the mental health and chemical dependency field for almost 15 years, but first discovered the gift of helping others at a young age, growing up in a home where social justice was expected, not just encouraged. She graduated with her B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice at the U of MN-Twin Cities in 2006. After first working as a mental health worker at a long-term residential facility for adults with serious and persistent mental illness in 2011, she returned to get her Master’s in Counseling & Addiction Studies through St. Mary’s University of MN- Twin Cities in 2013 and has since worked at almost every level of care the state of Minnesota has to offer.

Jess loves to incorporate nature, travel, yoga, meditation, books, exercise, dance or anything and everything that allows you to feel comfortable and accepted during therapy sessions.
