Carly (she/her) believes success in therapy comes from an authentic, non-judgmental relationship between client and therapist. Change occurs through that relationship to witness their story and experiences. She does not see clients as “broken” or “a problem” but rather their minds and bodies reacting to systemic stressors. She works to help clients find their inner strength and worth, and breakdown negative unhelpful narratives. Carly enjoys working with clients coming to therapy for the first time, those who struggle with identity and sense of self, individuals and families through pregnancy or infertility, and family systems or individuals to create healthy boundaries and relationships. She utilizes humor, a psychodynamic perspective, and acceptance, experiential, and emotionally focused techniques in her work with clients.
