As a clinical social worker, Annalise (she/her) approaches the therapy space with curiosity, openness, and compassion. She believes healing is possible for everyone and enjoys seeing clients utilize their strengths and begin to feel like themselves again. By helping clients become aware of their needs and emotions, she empowers them to find healing and develop compassionate relationships with themselves. She finds that the body is an important ally and resource for healing and emphasizes the mind-body-spirit connection in the therapeutic process. In her approach, Annalise is trauma-informed and draws on components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Her clients say that she provides a very calming presence.
