To Our Dear Clients | COVID-19

Dear Clients of Wild Tree Psychotherapy,

Although we do not wish to perpetuate any hysteria surrounding this disease, we want to address the concerns that some of you may have. Our top priority continues to be the safety and well-being of our clients and staff while maintaining clear communication. As we continue to monitor developments around the world, we want to provide you with an update about our response to the coronavirus outbreak.

Please know that we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and CDC recommendations carefully and frequently and that every effort is being taken to ensure your safety when you enter our clinic.

First, we’d like to share with you some of the steps we are taking above and beyond our usual cleaning regimens to reduce the spread of germs.  We have replaced all glassware with disposable cups in our waiting room.  We have provided hand sanitizer in our waiting area and provided antibacterial wipes in the bathrooms.  Our staff continues to frequently wipe surfaces throughout the day.  We have removed toys, magazines, and other frequently touched items from our offices and communal spaces.

Secondly, while in the clinic, we request that you please cover your cough with your arm or a kleenex and use the provided hand sanitizer as needed. Ideally, you will wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds in the bathroom when you arrive at the clinic (hand washing is preferred to hand sanitizer). We further request that you keep an eye on your children to ensure that they are not putting any items in their mouths or touching surfaces with their mouths or hands that have been in their mouths.

Lastly, If you have felt ill, have a fever or other symptoms, or have been exposed to COVID-19, please call and reschedule your appointment with your provider as soon as possible. Please stay home and stay well. We hope you understand that this is for your safety and the safety of the rest of our clients and staff. Our providers are also required to stay home if they become ill or have been exposed. If this happens, you will be notified by your provider or a member of our leadership team as soon as we become aware.

Our providers are prepared to work with you around our current cancellation policy. We would prefer you and others stay safe. Some providers may be offering remote telehealth therapy sessions to any clients for whom it would be appropriate. Please contact your provider directly to access this service.

As always, feel free to reach out to your individual provider if you have questions or concerns. We promise to communicate any changes moving forward.

In health,

Wild Tree Psychotherapy Team
