Sara believes that each person is the expert on their own lives and is honored to accompany individuals as they pursue wellness. Sara recognizes that the choice to pursue therapy is a brave one and she is grateful to be able to witness and partner with clients who are making the choice to pursue healing. She believes in the connection between the mind and the body and enjoys helping clients discover ways to engage their whole selves in healing. Sara has observed the therapeutic benefits of incorporating a mindfulness practice into therapy and enjoys partnering with clients as they create their own mindfulness practices. Sara works from an eclectic framework incorporating elements of DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Narrative Therapy and person-centered therapy, while working from a trauma-informed lens. She is trained and certified in DBT and trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Sara would be honored to accompany you on your therapeutic journey of healing.
