Kate (she/her) brings authenticity, compassion, and humor to her work as a therapist. Her approach is relational and grounded in curiosity as she aims to help clients build awareness the strengths and skills they may already hold. Kate integrates a range of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and existential exploration. She has experience working with individuals ages 12 and above with a variety of presenting concerns including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, housing/financial insecurity, grief and loss, and difficult life transitions. Kate has a particular interest in supporting individuals who are healing from the impacts of trauma, grief and loss, and adverse religious experiences. Outside of the office, Kate loves taking walks and spending time outside with her family, trying new recipes, gardening, and attempting to rehabilitate house plants.
