Letter to Clients re: Resuming In-Person Services

Dear Clients,

While telemedicine is still the preferred method of treatment, at this time, clinicians are starting to make plans to resume in person sessions on a case by case basis. Please discuss with your provider to learn more about their timeline for re-entry.

For those resuming in-person sessions:

We understand your concerns, so we have taken the highest of precautions to prepare our clinic for you! The safety of our team and clients is essential to us, so we have:

· Cleaned and disinfected all highly trafficked surfaces (daily and between each client)

· Removed any non-essential items throughout our clinic

· Provided hand sanitizer and have designated sinks available for hand washing

· Discontinued the practice of hand shaking and other non-essential contact

· Staff is informed on appropriate cleaning protocols and will be making changes to calendars to stagger appointment times to reduce the number of people in the office

Wild Tree Psychotherapy Client Safety Plan

This is our plan for resumption of in-person sessions. As the circumstances evolve, we will likely update our protocols. We will communicate accordingly. Your safety is important to us and we want to continue to offer a positive experience while modifying our services to minimize exposure. Here are some of the changes:

WAIT IN CAR or OUTSIDE IF IT’S NICE OUT: We are asking all of our clients to remain in their car or outside of the office until 5 minutes or less before your appointment time.

SICKNESS: If you are showing any signs of fever, cough or illness we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. Cancelation due to sickness will not result in a cancelation fee at this time.

WASH HANDS: Upon entering the building we will be asking all clients to wash their hands or utilize provided hand sanitizer in the waiting area.

MASK: You may wear a mask in session if you feel this is important to you and you can discuss with your individual therapist if you would like them to wear a mask.

PAYMENT: We request that clients continue to use their credit cards on file as payment instead of using cash or check.

ONLY YOU: At this time, we request no one accompany you during your appointment. If you are bringing in a young child for an appointment, you can stay with your child as needed, determined by your clinician, then please wait in your car until the end of the hour.

CONSENT: Due to the nature of our work, which includes talking in a room with a closed door and sitting on fabric-covered furniture, the ability to guarantee sterilization is not 100%.

By coming to the office, you are assuming the risk of exposure to COVID-19 (or other public health risk). We will require a signed consent form acknowledging your understanding of the risks and consent for treatment in person.

Wild Tree Psychotherapy, LLC is committed to keeping you, your provider, our staff, and all of our families safe from the spread of COVID-19.
