This workshop is for twenty-something women to connect, develop, and support making sense of “adulting” in this current day and age.
According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, the definition of an adult is a fully developed and mature adult. Adult-ish is a descriptor for those twenty-somethings navigating post college life, facing grown world problems and expectations, but without full confidence, achievement and maturity. Adult-ish is an awkward stage, not a student anymore but not yet married with a family. For many of us, friends move away, entry level careers start and relationships increase in intensity. How do you navigate the unknown world on your own successfully? How do you make friends as an adult? How do you foster personal growth independently? How do you find empathy for your difficulties when your parents were married with a home and child at your age? This workshop is for twenty-something women to connect, develop and support making sense of “Adulting” in this current day and age.
We will discuss: Friendships, Networking, Developing Personal Interests, Dating, Managing Societal Expectations, and Goal Setting.
Participants will walk away with specific ways to foster their own personal growth, skills to manage doubt/expectations and support from other women. *Participants will also receive an Adult-ish mug to celebrate this life stage.
