Lauren (she/her) believes that everyone has the capacity for change and healing and that our mental health is a mind/body reaction to our environment. Lauren strives to create a safe space in which to help her clients explore the patterns in their life and how the past may be impacting their present. Lauren specializes in early childhood mental health and supporting parents to strengthen co-regulation and attachment relationships. She is grounded in trauma, relational, developmental, and attachment theories. She uses an integrative approach including techniques in play-based interventions, dyadic work, reflective exploration, self-compassion, and mindfulness. Lauren has training in Early Childhood Mental Health, Play therapy, and Conscious Discipline. Lauren is trained in DC:0-5 assessment for children under age 5, rostered in Trauma-Informed Child Parent Psychotherapy (TI-CPP), holds a certificate in Maternal Mental Health, and is registered as a Circle of Security Parenting facilitator (COSP). Lauren is also a Board Approved Supervisor.
