Liz believes that the most essential keys to reaching our goals are believing in ourselves and knowing that someone believes in us. She works to create a safe, comfortable, trusted, honest, and humorous environment with her clients that encourages creativity, confidence, and motivation. Liz uses a systemic and strengths-based approach in working with clients and the relationships they have in their lives. She has a particular interest in helping children and families navigate the stressful demands of their environment in order to find a sense of harmony together. Liz enjoys teaching children how to be self aware and in control of their body, mind and emotions through mindfulness and movement. Additionally, she finds great passion in supporting young adults navigating post college life and new parents adjusting to supporting their children. Liz often incorporates play, movement, mindfulness and art in to her therapy sessions. She is a Certified Child and Adolescent Anxiety Treatment Professional. Liz is also a MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy approved supervisor.
