Liz (she/her) believes that the most essential keys to reaching our goals are believing in ourselves and knowing that someone believes in us. She works to create a comfortable, honest, and humorous environment with her clients that encourages creativity, confidence, and motivation. Liz uses a systemic and strengths-based approach in working with clients and the relationships they have in their lives. She has a particular interest in helping children and families navigate the stressful demands of their environment in order to find a sense of harmony together. Liz enjoys teaching children, teens, families and adults how to navigate through challenges including anxiety and OCD. Additionally, she finds great passion in supporting young adults navigating post college life and new parents adjusting to parenthood. Liz often incorporates play, movement, mindfulness and art into her therapy sessions. She is a Certified Child and Adolescent Anxiety Treatment Professional. Liz has completed advanced training in Exposure and Ritual Response Prevention Therapy (EX/RP) for OCD for children, teens and adults. Liz has also completed Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) training for Children and Adults. Liz is also a MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy and MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy approved supervisor.
