Bethany’s (she/her) approach to therapy is in developing true connection as well as holding a non-judgmental space for all she works with. She aims to help those who feel stuck or lost begin the process of healing and self-discovery. Sometimes life is messy and can make us feel crazy, abnormal or damaged. Bethany wants everyone she works with to realize their true worth and that they are beautiful and resilient humans. Bethany works well with people who seek relationships, connection and a touch of humor in therapy. She believes that the client and therapist relationship is important and values a client centered and relational approach. Bethany enjoys working with those in the LGBTQ+ communities, those who have been adopted, highly sensitive individuals and really anyone who is working on issues of identity and finding oneself. Bethany also enjoys working with anyone experiencing anxiety or depression. Bethany uses a trauma-informed approach in her work. She uses somatic approaches to treat trauma and truly believes in a mind and body connection. Bethany is trained in Adaptive Internal Relational Network (AIR), has a Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate (PACC) and is trained in Circle of Security- Parenting (COS-P).
