Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Becca has been a Twin Cities resident since 2008. She received her Master of Social Work from the University of St. Thomas/St. Kate’s. Becca has spent the last five years working alongside children, adolescents and families in their homes across the metro area. Becca has a trauma focused lens and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). She utilizes mindfulness-based strategies and draws on the attachment framework to guide her work. Becca believes there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach and finds that one of the most important aspects of therapy is the relationship she builds with her clients. Becca provides a nurturing therapeutic environment and supports her clients with creating their own journey of healing.
Becca lives in Minneapolis with her husband and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Leon. Becca enjoys a good cup of coffee, exercising and live music.
